God who is mighty has done great things
Today we look at a tale of two women. Both were chosen by God to forward His plan of salvation for His creation. God sent the Angel Gabriel first to a priest named Zechariah who was told his wife Elizabeth was going to have a child in her old age. He didn’t believe it and was struck mute.
Gabriel went to Mary to announce God was going to create His Son, the Savior of the world in her womb and she was to name him Jesus because He would save us from our sins. Mary believed. We might want to rush to judgment here and say don’t be like Zechariah be like Mary, but the story doesn’t end there.
Join us as we look at the rest of the story and see how God makes promises and keeps promises. God brings us to faith, sometimes slowly and sometimes right away.
